Oklahoma City Golf Commission
Addressing Clubhouse Concerns
Need your valuable input
As you know, the Oklahoma City Golf Commission and Oklahoma City Public Property Authority, together with Lincoln Park and Earlywine Golf Club management, have been diligently working on a plan to address some of the concerns that have been expressed by patrons regarding the condition of the Clubhouses.
The purposes of this plan are several-fold: to provide you the best possible experience at the Course and Club; to provide a long range plan; to improve the aesthetics of the Club in order to benefit current patrons and aid in recruitment of new patrons; and to enhance the Club’s position of prestige in the market befitting its heritage. As part of this planning process, the Commission has stressed the importance of providing the patrons with an objective channel to aid in gathering feedback on this very important subject.
After careful review, the City of Oklahoma City has engaged LWPB together with Tom Hoch Design and the Signature Group. Each of these companies is highly regarded for their knowledge, and success in developing solutions to address the challenges facing the Golf Course and Club industry today.
The Signature Group will serve as the conduit to our players and patrons to seek your advice, counsel and support. Bruce Lucker, President, will be heading up that effort. He and his team are anxious to get patron feedback, either in person or by phone. While not realistic to expect to contact the entire list of current patrons, we do want to provide you the opportunity to participate. If you wish to volunteer to be interviewed by phone or join in a Focus Group, please contact Miles Dunning at 405-227-8560. The balance of patrons/players to be interviewed will be randomly selected by the Signature Group.
We are very excited about the process on which we are about to embark. We firmly believe that your recommendations to the Signature Group will not only help to enhance the current player/patron experience and value, but also will result in an attractive product for new prospective patrons. As always, we appreciate your continued support and feedback.
Sincerely,
